Warehouses Rock!

You've seen this beautiful family before. I shot them again this past weekend with their extended family in a very cool location. We took an hour and a half drive to the town B was raised in. There is a warehouse in that town that has great history with their family and they knew it would make a very interesting and artistic element to their family photos. I absolutely loved the place when I first got there. It stretched me technically and I loved that!
Man I wish this place was closer to home!

She's 6

Okay, I know I have clients waiting for their proofs or sneak peeks, but just had to take a day off to celebrate birthdays in our house. My husbands and my oldests.

Oh, and the pettiskirt Emery is wearing is a business prop. So if I am shooting your little girl and you want me to bring the skirt along, just let me know.

Mystery Solved.

And this is the "she" that made him smile. Can you blame him? She's beautiful inside and out.

Meet Jason.

I won't tell you how his big sister got him to smile naturally because it might embarrass him. And "she" might read my blog. ;)

My New Favorite!

I love everything about this picture. If I had a studio or office that I had clients come to I would blow this baby up huge and hang in on the wall. I can not take credit for it though, this pose was Crystal's idea, who by the way, takes awesome pictures herself. Oh and Crystal, your gallery will be coming to you sometime today.

Location, Location, Location

Sometimes you have to get a little creative with your location. Add in some fun patio furniture and a trip to the public restroom, and here you have it....Art. ;)

A Teary Session

I loved this session with a very beautiful family in their gorgeous back yard. However, it was a bit tearful at times, even for me. Their daughter is leaving for France for a year and their son is stationed in New York. So this was the last time they will be all together for a while. There were some tender moments. You could just feel the love and a little bit of the pain. I am still editing these, but wanted to share just one for Mom.

Sister Shoot

They are so fun. Here are a few more of my favorites.

Simply Beautiful.

I'm still proofing this session from last night. But I had to share my favorite! Actually there are a ton that I love, but this one stood out to me. And yes, this is the same little red-headed dude as in my last session. This time he is with his Auntie and Cousins.
